Bumbershoot returns for its 52nd edition over Labor Day weekend (August 30–31 at Seattle Center), promising a vibrant fusion of music, art, and culinary culture that has become a signature of Seattle’s most cherished festival .


Sunday Highlights: Linda’s Lindas, Aurora, Fat Dog, Say She She, Vika & the Velvets


The festival’s Sunday lineup is packed with standout performances, including several crowd favorites:

• The Linda Lindas — This dynamic all-female punk band brings fresh energy and social-punk spirit to the festival. Their bold, energetic performance is not one to miss .

• Aurora — The ethereal Norwegian indie-pop artist known for her emotionally resonant, art-pop sound, Aurora is set to deliver a dreamlike and introspective set on Sunday .

• Fat Dog — A rising act earning buzz for their soulful indie-rock grooves, Fat Dog adds a compelling, fresh layer to the Sunday roster. Their appearance nods to Bumbershoot’s tradition of spotlighting emerging local talent .

• Say She She — Performing on Saturday, this funky, bilingual soul-pop group delivers smooth R&B grooves and catchy melodies sure to ignite the stage .

• Vika & the Velvets — Spokane-based indie-rock with a lush blend of classic rock, blues, jazz, and soulful vocals, Vika & the Velvets crafts an intimate, poetic, and genre-defying experience. Their Sunday set, described as “vibrant, poetic, and utterly unforgettable,” makes them one of the festival’s most anticipated “hidden gems” .


Bumbershoot 2025 is anchored by heavy-hitter headliners like Weezer, Bright Eyes, Car Seat Headrest, Janelle Monáe, and Sylvan Esso, promising a heady mix of alt-rock, indie, R&B, and electro-pop across both days . But the true festival magic lies in discovery—Sunday alone features over 30 artists, including your highlighted acts plus Digable Planets, Tennis, Saba, and The Murder City Devils .


Beyond music, Bumbershoot offers a rich tapestry of art installations, immersive districts like Recess and Fashion, comedy spots like Comedy Coop, and an especially expansive culinary lineup—including offerings from Homer, Mexican Seoul, Lenox, and neighborhood favorites—ensuring the festival is a full sensory celebration.
